With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved husband/father/grandfather Steve Berlant.
Steve was born January 28,1949 and grew up in Mar Vista. He graduated from Venice High School with the Winter 1967 class, The Kahilians. He was a proud UCLA Bruin and had a successful career as an aerospace engineer.
Steve loved traveling the world with Marlene, his wife of 50 years. He loved spending time with his children, Greg and Melissa, and his grandchildren, Tony and Adrianna.
Steve was always the the first to volunteer to help a friend or family member.
When Steve was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, he approached it as he did everything else – with his full heart and dedication. He fought back with boxing, mountain biking, and exercise as long as he was able.
