Gregory Lowell Looney, 58, of Fresno, died on August 26, 2009. He was a medical counsel. Private memorial services. Arrangements, Neptune Society. Greg was survived by his two daughters, Amber and Jennifer.
Grey Looney was born on December 3, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee to Mildred Guthrie Looney Burkhead Maruyama (1924-2002) and Lon Lowell Looney (1918) Both of his parents were born in Arkansas. In 1955, his parents divorced.
In 1966, his older twin sisters Maron Faye Looney and Sharon Kaye Looney (1946-2009) graduated from Venice High School.
On May 18 of 1966, Greg was in the 9th grade at Mark Twain Junior High School, where he sang a solo to the song: “You’ll Never Walk Alone” where a musical concert was held in the auditorium in the evening.
Greg graduated from Venice High School with the Summer 1969 class.
On November 24, 1972, Greg at 21 married Patricia L Martin Doan 21, in Los Angeles. On June 24, 1975, their first daughter Amber was born. On August 31, 1977, they had a second daughter, Jennifer. Greg and Patricia were divorced on November 24, 1982.
During his life, Greg resided in Venice, Ontario, and Fresno, California.
