Larry Randall McPherson was the son of Larry Everett McPherson and Velma Constance Temple.
On January 3, 1969 he was on the crew as Gunner of the UH-1H helicopter #66-01112 when they hit some wires near near Duc Water Plant and crashed. McPherson was declared a casualty of the Vietnam War. ★ He served with honor in the United States Army. ★ He is remembered by the people of California. ★ May his positive example inspire us. Working together towards peace, mutual respect, and equality for all.
Dear Sp4 Larry McPherson, Thank you for your service as a Flight Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice. The 53rd anniversary of the start of your tour just passed. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the terror attacks. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
