Mom passed away after a long battle of cancer in 2003. Her kids and I miss her so much and often revisit her island homes.
She often spoke about the little bike in the tree and even was interviewed in the island times back in 1997 but we never pursued her story further after she passed.

You can be reassured that so many people have had this book given to them. I alone purchased 5 of them for Christmas gifts. My father and siblings grew up on that property also. The Bacons. Now in my late 50’s I am so glad to hear your story. God bless you and yours.❤️!
