| About Me | Joined the US Navy in Feb 1980; traveled the world to about 30 different countries; got married in 1980; got divorced in 1986; remarried in 1989 and divorced again in 2015. Retired from the naval service and through a transition of 4 different companies, found myself working in human resources for TYCO International. In April 2011. I packed up and moved to Alabama; returned to college and enjoying a stress free life for a while. Graduated college in 2014. Started working for the State of Alabama in January 2015. Recently started a new chapter as a single man again. So, I quit my job with the state of Alabama in April 2017. I've lost 50 lbs, now at 167. I'm beginning to feel better about myself every day. Working in Tennessee at the moment and it's still unclear where life will take me from here or with whom. I do know a couple things though, music sooths the soul and lyrics like, "Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end" or "What doesn't kill me, only makes me stronger" or "God is great, Beer is good, and People are crazy" help get you through the day.
