Survived by wife, Susanna; son, Kawena; father, Charles Jr.; mother, Dolores; brothers, Charles III and Jim; sisters, Jane Herrel and Ann Greene; hanai parents, Don and Cleta Young; hanai sisters, Joleen Dias and Grace Leach; hanai brothers, Walter Ana, John Hicks, Kanak Victorino, Ed Gordon, Matt Peru and Scotty Moore. Celebration of life 10 a.m. Saturday at Makaha Surfing Beach. No flowers. Beach attire.
