The last time I spoke to Mrs. Bargelli was on her 100th birthday. She said she remembered me but I am not sure of that :-) She did remember some of the phrases she use to say, like "to the salt mine you go" we laugh about that. She was a great person and a great teacher. No one received more attention than another. She was strict but fair. I am so glad I called and spoke to her. Great memories.

She was my homeroom teacher. One year she took some of us to NYC to see an opera. It was the first opera I had ever seen. Such a lovely lady
