About Me	Prior to attending my undergradiuate school (Northeas Louisiana University in Monroe, LA), I served two years in the U. S. Navy, mainly on board the USS ENTERPRISE CVAN-65, the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. I was a Yeoman (clerk) in VF-33 where I disseminated information about squadron members to their hometown media and also helped with Personnal duties. I am a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society, belonged to various junior college associations, and worked in various civic organizations. I developed several new History classes for the curriculum at Bishop State Junior College in Mobile, AL and served on the Faculty Council. Lastly, due to education budget cuts, I served as both the Training and Safety Officer at a local state hospital and was surveyed by the Joint Commision on four separate occasions during my 12 year tenure as Safety Officer. The last survey determined that our hospital received its survey, with honor, meaning we achived 98 out of 100 points in the survey.
