Sherri A. Hart (Cole)
Sherri A. Hart (Cole) was born in Albuq, NM in 1951 and graduated from Valley High School. She passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2023 while living her life to the fullest up until her last moments.
Sherri is preceded in death by her parents Margaret Eileen Cole and Robert John Cole and survived by her daughter Paloma (Jo), four sisters Robin, Margaret "Peggy", Lisa (Charlie), and Donna (Greg), and her nieces and nephews Danelle, Nathaniel, Matthew, Clint, Lindsey, Lance, and Jonathan. Sherri will be greatly missed and held in deep remembrance for her full heart, vibrance, and strong spirit not only by her family, but also many lifelong friends, chosen family, and people in the community who she offered care, companionship, and loving support to.
Sherri was a retired nurse who dedicated 46 years working for UNM Hospital in Newborn ICU, the Emergency Room, and Family Health Clinic. Sherri was an exceptional nurse, offering deep compassion and genuine kindness to every person she cared for. Nursing, caring for others, giving to others, and volunteering for multiple causes was her life passion and joy.
