James Junker, a long-time Carmel resident, formerly of North White Plains, died Sunday, July 26, 2009 from a stroke at Putnam Hospital. He served as telecommunications specialist at White Plains Hospital, loved entertaining playing bass in multiple bands, and enjoyed the outdoors with his beloved pets. He is survived by his wife, Gerry, the joy of his life, two stepchildren, Robyn Winter of Carmel and Steven Winter of White Plains; two brothers, Jeffrey Junker of Greenwich; John Junker of White Plains; and a sister, Heidi Junker Coleman of Monroe.
