John M. Proietti, 46, of Southbury, CT, formerly of Valhalla, NY, died suddenly while on a business trip in Munich, Germany on Sunday, April 22, 2001. Born June 3, 1954, John was raised in Valhalla, graduated from Valhalla High School in 1972. He went on to complete his B.S. in Electrical Engineering at Villanova University and later attained his MA in International Trade at Pace University. He was currently employed by Kinetics Thermal Systems, of Stone Ridge, NY. John and his wife Marge (Girardi) have lived in Southbury, CT for 16 years with their two daughters, Sara a freshman at Ithaca College and Lora age 14. John‘s interests were golf and photography and he was an avid sports fan. Besides his wife Marge and his daughters Sara and Lora, John is survived by his parents Arky and Rose Proietti of Valhalla and his three sisters, Laura Frappollo of Winchester, VA, Cynthia Lipton of Mahopac and Karen Arbore of Carmel. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday, April 29, at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, Hawthorne, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 30, at 10 AM, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, NY. Interment Private.
