| About Me | Vocatus atque non vocatus, Deus aderit. Bidden or not bidden, God is always present. Energetic, upbeat and positive! Intelligent, but no "braniac." I love singing and dancing, and have eclectic taste in music... I like a little of everything. I have a mid-30s step-son, and three daughters, one late-20s and two early-20s. I love dancing, music, singing and camping (I want a pop-up camper!). My favorite camping includes some sort of body of water we can get into and PLAY! I earn my living as a legal secretary. I'm a reader. I think you should be happier and better off when you finish reading a book or watching a movie. Paulo Coelho's "The Alchemist" (a really easy read, but SO uplifting!), and "To Kill a Mockingbird" are a couple of favorites. I enjoy good movies with positive messages. My kids and I quote movie lines a lot. (It's a family SPORT! Oh, gee, we CRACK OURSELVES UP!) I'm no "perfect" parent... but I'm the "just-right" one for MY kids. (I'm so glad God entrusted them to me!!) I used to teach "Redirecting Children's Behavior" and that helped a great deal with my own parenting. A few years after my divorce, my former husband passed away unexpectedly. It was a rough time for all of us, but as always, God put good people and all the right resources around us, and walked with me, and helped me to help my kids through it. I like to garden, but moved to Phoenix, and I haven't quite mastered gardening in this heat. Hmmm... obviously, I also enjoy WRITING!
