I was a carpenter assigned to 100 Civil Engineering Squadron, and part of that time I was assigned to a PRIME BEEF (Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force) readiness team called PRIME RIBS (Prime Readiness In Base Services). I spent most of my brief time in the Air Force at Beale AFB, where the SR-71 and U-2 reconnaissance aircraft resided.
