About	Born: February 22, 1958 - Passed July 30, 2005 NELSON, LARRY Alpine resident, Larry Nelson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, July 30, 2005. Born February 22, 1958, Larry was a graduate of Valhalla High School, attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating in 1982, later earning an MBA from SDSU. Married to Martina in 1987, in Vienna, their family grew to include four children; Christopher, 16, Jonathan, 15, Katrina, 12, Peter, 10. A member of Shadow Mountain Community Church, he was a member of the Parks and Recreation / Conservation Sub-Committee of the Alpine Planning Group, and a consultant at the Seibersdorf Nuclear and Research Center in Vienna in 1987. As a general contractor, he carried on the family tradition begun in 1935 by his grandfather Larry Kuebler in the Chula Vista area, with Nelson and Sons Construction Co. Survived by his wife, Martina Nelson, their four children, parents Betty (Nelson) and Earl Jenson, Clyde and Ann Nelson, sisters Julie Martin and Mary Woodruff, and brother Dan. Nelson (deceased). Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 5, 11:00 a.m. at Shadow Mountain Community Church, 2100 Greenfield Dr., El Cajon. A memorial fund through Shadow Mountain Community Church (The Nelson Memorial), has been established.
