Michael was born to Jim and Deanna Shorter on June 25, 1958 in La Mesa, CA.
Age at Death 47
He left to be with our Lord on March 9, 2006. Mike was preceded in death by his father Jim and his little brother Noel. He leaves his mom D.D., dad Rollie, big brother Doug, little sister Wendy, two sons Michael and Derrick, grandson Marshall, granddaughter Rachel and Uncle Jimmy. After high school graduation he attended college for two years then decided he work full time to support his growing family. For some time he built steel buildings then joined his brother Doug installing swimming pools. In 2003, he suffered a debilitating stroke that left him without the use of his left arm and leg. He has recently had some mini strokes. Mike was a loving son and loyal friend. He will be truly missed by all. His services will be held this Saturday, March 18th at 1 p.m. at Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary
