Gary was a special and unique person who is dearly missed. He was popular, funny, creative, adventurous and he had an extraordinary natural gift for illustration. He cherished music and film and often expressed his dreams of world travel. We were sweethearts throughout high school and honored to be members of Valhalla's very first graduating class in 1976. We parted ways as I left for Berkeley to further my education, but we visited on occasion. I was blessed to have known him as were all who's lives he touched. My fondest memories will always be of the simple moments of levity that are shared in youth.

Since sweethearts at age fourteen; countless adventures, fun, artistic collaborations, music, intimate and happy memories. Parted ways after my move to UC Berkeley. Many people loved and miss Gary.
