About	Paul B. White Jr., 55 of Moorhead, MN died at Innovis Health, Fargo on September 23, 2007. Paul was born in Kansas City, MO on July 23, 1952. He grew up and attended school in Prairie Village, KS, Moorhead, MN, and graduated from Urbandale High School, IA. After completing his college freshman year at ISU in Ames, IA Paul and his sister Carolyn spent 3 months backpacking throughout Europe. Paul then attended MSUM where he worked at the college bookstore, met and married his college sweetheart. Paul and Pamela (Helm) were married on August 16, 1975 in Fargo, ND. Paul graduated in 1976 with an undergraduate degree in social work. He earned his MSW at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN, in 1996. Paul worked as a social worker in child protective services and Pam as a teacher in Detroit Lakes, MN and Rugby, ND before making their permanent home in Moorhead, MN. Paul strongly believed in supporting his community and participated by volunteering as a Fireman and Rescue Diver in Detroit Lakes, MN, and an Emergency Medical Technician in Rugby, ND. He worked closely with his son Zach's Boy Scout Troop and also led small group ministry at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN. After being diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) in 2004, Paul became an active spokesman for ALS community support. Paul was a loyal friend, devoted father, loving husband, and a true partner in every sense of the word. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis White. He is survived by his wife, Pam and their three children, Zachary, Elizabeth and Kelsey, Moorhead, MN; his father, Paul (Donna) White; and two sisters, Carolyn (Bob) Matthees, Lake Park, MN, and Marsha (Mick McGeary) White, Salmon, Idaho. - See more at: http://www.wrightfuneral.com/obituary/Paul-B.-White-Jr./_/1153408#sthash.0xY4aLU2.dpuf
