Lost & Found Upper St. Clair High School Class Rings

1970 class ring

Found a class ring from 1967. It's pretty bulky so I thought it was a men's ring but it's probably a size 6-7 so it maybe a lady's ring. It was found in my dads moving truck when he was sweeping it out 25 or so years ago. Nobody ever claimed a lost ring. I held onto it & recently found it in a jewelry box from childhood. It says 'Upper' on one side of a big black stone & 'St. Clair' on the other side, with an 'H' on top & 'S' on bottom. One side of the ring it says '1967' & under that is the mascot & under that 'Panthers'. The other side says '1967' & it has a Latin saying 'Qui-non Proficit Deficit' & I can't tell what the tiny symbols are.. One looks like a book, one looks like a big 'U' with a little SC over the U. One may be a symbol for band?? And I can't tell the other. Under all that is the year 1956 (it may be 1950 but pretty sure 1956). Engraved on the inside are the initials M E C and stamped on the other side is something that I can't read and the #2. I hope this can make it back to its owner or a family member!
