| About | When we moved to 4th street Dick and I became best friends. There wasn't many times we weren't together doing something. From morning till night we would ride our bikes, play basketball and anything else we could think of. The last night of Dick's life he called and talked to my wife Marnie and then talked to me. I told Marnie Dick didn't sound like himself. The last thing he told me was we'll have to get together sometime. The next morning Steve Hart, my cousin who was on the Upper Sandusky police department at the time, called and told me Dick had taken his own life. I was devastated and to this day I remember his call like it was yesterday. I miss my best friend everyday and will until the day I meet him and we renew our friendship! |
