About Me	On September 13th, 2010 Christina called to tell us about her semester in Rome, Italy. From the day she'd arrived on September 3rd, she had fallen in love with Italy. She loved the campus, the students and the teachers. She loved Rome and hoped to travel with her classmates over her semester break. She was loving school and life. Later that day, returning to campus from her workout at a local gym, Christina was struck by a car. She suffered catastrophic injuries to her body and brain. However, in spite of her devastating injuries, she hung on and healed a little bit each day. She continues to fight and work hard every day, just as she has before the accident. With the help of our friends and family, we have come a long way since the ICU and continue to make progress. We look forward to an ever brighter future for our lovely daughter. Our parents have been very generous. Our sisters and brothers jumped in to help in every way they could. Our friends, old and new, supported us in a thousand ways. Our community has helped us to bring Christina home to a beautiful new space. Our dear friend Jeff McCabe enlisted the help of so many people starting with Girard Goenermann and Jack Grace. We were generously helped by John Staley, Paul Volpe, Phil Boccella, Chuck Ritter, Minchell Painter, Don Kerper,,Ferd D'Onofrio, Kim Cressman, Inger Rivera and so, so many other beautiful, helping hands from friends, friend's parents, teachers, team parents and caring people. The Upper Merion Crew Team, The Duquense Crew Team, Gamma Sigma Sigma, The Upper Merion Water Polo Team, Mother of Divine Providence, Hope Community Church and Christina's many friends and former team mates. So many people have helped us and have been friends to us throughout this time, it is difficult to name you all, but we are so thankful for your help.
