Favorite School Memory	Sock hop in 1968...I love to dance and I went with a bunch of girls. Met a bunch of guys there and had a blast!
About Me	After graduation I went to UCSB for 4 years. During my sophomore year I ran into two UHS classmates; Colleen Collins and Robert Mattson but they both transferred to other Universities the following year. While at UCSB I was involved in several activities: campus newspaper, dance group, theatre group, curriculum advocate and I tutored Bi-lingual students at Goleta Elementary School. After graduation I taught summer school at a private school in Santa Barbara. Decided to move back to Upland and hired on with GTE until I figured out what to do next. I reconnected with a lot of UHS classmates at work and found that I could transfer to different jobs and cities. It was easier to teach adults than children and I loved the technical aspect of telecommunications. After moving up and down the California Coast for 30 years I took an early retirement package in 2003. Two years later I decided to take a Human Resource class and obtained a HR Certificate as well as a Graphic Design Certificate.
