Bernie passed away on March 17, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughters Isabelle, Anna and Lara; new grand-daughter Morgan (who he never was able to meet); and, his sister, Michelle.
Bernie grew up in U City, and then attended Webster U (BA, Environmental Science) and Missouri U Science/Tech (BS, Engineering). After relocating to Houston in ‘83, he earned his MBA from Rice U. While in Houston, he worked for Texas Instrument, Grumman, Lockheed-Martin, and KPMG - all before starting his own consulting firm in 2006. His marks were felt in both public and private sectors, and his professionalism, optimism and friendship will be missed by everyone he touched.
Sadly, Bernie’s successful path tapered in the last few years due to the sudden onset of a degenerative, neurological disease, from which he ultimately succumbed.
