About Me	Four years Navy, followed by a year at the U. of I. Married Peggy Walker in 1964. Two kids: Kory, born in 1967, owns a special effects studio in Hollywood. His wife Karen gave birth to our first grandson, K.C., on June 2, 2003. Daughter Lori, born in 1969, is a Creative Director for North, an advertising agency in Portland, Oregon. Until 1979, I worked as a commercial artist, graphic designer, and art director. Since then I’ve untilized those skills as a freelancer and expanded into advertising, marketing, and print management. I divorced in 1983 and married Sue Sisco in 1993.?She has two daughters: Jenniffer, 37 and Jesica, 34 (in 2007). Jesica gave birth to Joel, our second grandson, July 7, 2005. Sue and I are both retired and we plan to remain in Homer. We love our home and Sue has taken a real liking to small town living. Volunteering is a big part of our lives: Sue through the Methodist Church and at the Grade School as a teacher’s aide; I’m Treasurer for the Homer Community Library and spent 25 years in the (now disbanded) Homer Lions Club. As resident “artist,” I frequently do flyers, posters, and direct mail solicitations for many community activities, including every reunion my class has ever had! I’ve begun to paint and hope to begin showing—and sellilng—my work in the coming year. We travel some–especially to California to see the grandchildren. What a joy! We’re able to stay in contact with them via webcam, but wish they were closer. We love Santa Fe and Taos, NM, spending a week or two there every year. I’m still a Rocket fan ...(read more)
