About Me	After graduating from Unioto in 1962, I did a couple of years of college and worked various jobs before receiving an invitation to join the Army (Draft Notice). I opted to enlist in the U. S. Air Force, and went to Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas (San Antonio) in January 1966, and Accounting and Finance Technical School at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas to graduate in July 1966.......... During the summer of 1965, I met my future wife, Patty Jo Herron, while working at General Electric in Circleville, Ohio. (She graduated from Centralia in 1962.) We were married while I was home on leave, 11 July 1966. We are still happily married -- and planning to renew our vows 11 July 2010.............. We have two children/adults. Our son, Jay, was born in Anchorage, Alaska (Elmendorf Air Force Base) 14 November 1969 and our daughter, Brooke, was born in Wichita Falls, Texas (Sheppard Air Force Base) 23 December 1971. We all are doing well and live in Aurora, Colorado (A city in the Denver metro area)............. I retired from the Air Force in February 1991, after 25 years and a lot of miles. I got a job with a local company until September 1992 when I went back to work for the U. S. Government in the Defense Finance and Accounting Service in Denver, Colorado and added a lot more miles before retirement on 21 December 2009 -- an early Christmas present. ................. During my Air Force career and subsequent years of government service, I have been stationed in, sent to temporarily work in, traveled through, or visited 19 Foreign Countries and 47 States -- plus Washington DC................... We have lived in: -Anchorage, Alaska (Elmendorf Air Force Base, July 1966 to January 1970)............ -Wichita Falls, Texas (Sheppard Air Force Base, February 1970 to December 1972)............ -Taipei, Taiwan (Shu Lin Kou Air Station, February 1973 to June 1975).......... -Cheyenne, Wyoming (F.
