Terrence played in 50 Varsity Basketball games and was in 56 Basketball Articles Jennings had 5 - 8 headlines 5 - 8 pictures 2 featured pieces... TSJ Scored double figures 46 out of 50 Varsity Basketball games he played in. TSJ also scored more than 20 points in a game 26 times in his varsity career.

Terrence S. Jennings Team (1ST African American) Leading scorer 381 pts or 16.5 pts per game, averaged 4 assist, 5 rebounds and 3 steals per game, TSJ also set a then school record with 8 steals in a game against Avon Grove.
1977-78 TSJ was named 2nd Team ALL SCCL only because he missed 5 games due to injury or illness during league play
1977-1978 Basketball Team placed second in SCCL league10-2 losing championship game to Bishop Shannahan 46-45 (TSJ was sick)
1977-1978 First Unionville Boys Basketball Team to qualify for Boys PIAA Basketball State Tournament
1977-1978 Terrence S. Jennings an African American was the first player in Unionville Boys Basketball History to be selected to the Daily Local News, All Area Basketball Team. TSJ was the youngest member of team (16 years old).

In 1977-78 Terrence recived a 3rd Team or Honorable Mention All State nod:
It is believed it was 3rd Team All State Nod, this could be wrong though.

TSJ scored his career high of 31 pts vs. Sun Valley in a loss as he shot 11 - 21 and went 9 for 9 from foul line while grabbing 8 rebounds and dishing out 4 assist. TSJ also shot over 50% from the field for the season and set the school record of 16 fouls shots made in a row without a miss; Shot over 85% from the foul line for the season as well.

1977-1978 TSJ SCCL League Champion in the 120 HH set then and current school record of 14.6 against Sylvester Blandford of Darby Township at North Penn High School
TSJ was 11-1 in the 120 high hurdles during his junior year ending the season with an 11 race winning streak.

25 – 2 then & current school record. 2nd 20 game win season in school history.
Current School Record of 23 straight wins to start the season.
Terrence S. Jennings Teams Leading Scorer 481 pts or 17.8 pts per game, TSJ also averaged 5 assist, 5 rebounds and 4 steals per game during his senior year.
1978-1979 TSJ was selected as a member of the ALL SCCL 1st Team.
1978-1979 TSJ an Africa American was the first UHS player to be selected District 1 All Tourney team (hard to remember this particular accolade)
1978-1979 2nd Unionville Boys Basketball team to ever qualify for PIAA State Tournament
1978-1979 TSJ (African American) was first Unionville Basketball Player to be selected as a member of the All State 2nd Team.

1978 -1979 TSJ averaged 19.5 pts a game in the state tournament scoring 97 pts in 5 playoff games as a senior.
TSJ shot over 50% from the floor again while also shooting over 85% from the foul line.
TSJ tied his scoring career high of 31 points vs. Kennett Square in a win as he shot 13 - 17 from the floor and went 5 for 5 from foul line while grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 5 assist and adding 2 steals in another win.

TSJ also broke his own school record of 8 steals in a game by stealing 9 in a game against Pottstown in a district 1 game at Coatesville. It is believed that TSJ also holds the record for steals in a career for Unionville which was accomplished only in 2 years.

Terrence S. Jennings was 12 - 0 in the 120 high hurdles for a school record 23 – 1 with 23 straight wins another school record in the 120 HH in the SCCL. Most wins, Most Consecutive wins as 120 High Hurdler in Unionville history, most consecutive wins and highest winning percentage as a 120 High Hurdler in SCCL History.

Unionville Track Team Finished 24 – 0 during his time at Unionville High School which may have been the most consecutive wins iat that time n Unionville Sports history.

Unionville Varsity Sports Record 69 – 10 Basketball & Track
Highlights include a 23 game winning streak in Basketball, 24 consecutive track meet winning steak While TSJ personally went 23 -1 in high hurdles as he ended his career with the school record of 23 consecutive wins in 120 HH races for Unionville 2 All state nods and 1 DLN All Area nod, 1 SCCL 1st team nod in basketball 1 2nd team All SCCL nod in Basketball, 2 All SCCL nods in Track for the high hurdles…

Terrence S. Jennings Greatest accomplishments was his unabashed winning attitude which he took onto the courts, track or fields wherever he went either at West Chester East or to Unionville high Schools where his 115 - 19 career wins and loss (85.8% wins) record should speak for it’s self!

Colligiate Basketball Offers: Cheney State, University of Wisconsin Stout, West Chester University still D-1 it is believed, Shippensburg, NCJC now Ohio Valley University; Terrence had 13 offers after final game in Harrisburg Farm Show arena where Unionville lost to eventual State Champions York Catholic 60-59. TSJ scored 26 on 12 for 23 shooting from the floor and going 2 for 2 from the foul line, as he grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 5 assists and recorded 3 steals.
