| Favorite School Memory | Playing football for All Saints High School in Masontown, age 19, in 1932, during a strike at the mines. We didn't wear helmets then, or shoulder pads, or supporters. The Depression kept me working, then I enlisted in the Army and served 33 years in uniform.
