| About Me | I attended Montclair State University, where I earned my BA & MA degrees in speech pathology. I met my husband while I was in college, & we got married in 1979 and moved to Lake Hiawatha. He got a job with IBM in Endicott, NY (near Binghamton), so we moved to upstate NY> (They say that IBM stands for I've Been Moved!) Our daughter, Amy was born in 1983 and our son, Adam in 1986. I have worked as a speech therapist in a number of school districts in NY and retired in June 2011. My husband just retired this June, & we plan on selling our home and moving out to Cape Cod. Anyone out there want to buy a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath colonial?" Since retirement, I have visited schools and nursing homes/assisted living facilities with my dog, Comet, who is a certified therapy dog.. I volunteer for the Humane Society in Binghamton and play pickleball in my spare time. I will also be volunteering for Pres. Obama.
