Ms Ellen Louise Dahnke attended Union City High School in Union City, TN.

Ellen became a newspaper reporter, as she always wanted. She worked for some time for the Jackson Sun.

She then went on to Nashville, writing editorials for the Nashville Tennessean at the time of her death.
She lost her fight with breast cancer on December 21, 2006.
She was a very intelligent and caring individual, whom I was privileged to know briefly
