| About Me | During college, I got married to the love of my life, Tom Adkins. We ran off to Vegas and eloped during spring break in 2002. A lot of my time during college and shortly after was spent volunteering for the Guardian ad Litem Program, which advocates for abused and neglected children in the court system. After graduating, we moved to the Raleigh area of North Carolina and settled down. Some medical issues slowed me down a bit and I ultimately decided not to pursue my law degree; however I am thinking of pursuing my MBA within the upcoming years. Following college, I began working in a legal office as a legal assistant. Over the last several years, I have moved up in the company and am now the Executive Director. While working in the field, I chose to get my real estate agent and broker license and now work as an agent in my free time. Of course, I love to travel as well.
