| About Me | Officers Wives Club Director of Entertainment involved with setting up numerous activities from hosting TV and Movie personalities and music performers, to Astronauts at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, in Dayton, Ohio. Served as Hostess for Air Force General Officers at retirement ceremonies at the US Air Force Museum in Dayton. After my husband's retirement, I served as Director of Catering for the Embassy Suites Hotel in Columbus, Ohio. While there, I was elected President of the Columbus Hotel Sales and Marketing Association where I sat on the International Board of Directors for that organization. I was able to travel throughout the country to direct and assist in the opening of a number of new hotels. I then served for three years as Director of Sales and Catering for the new $24 million Wedgwood Golf and Country Club in Dublin, Ohio, where I directed the catering of over $1 million in parties, weddings, family and class reunions and other assorted social functions. For the past thirteen years I have owned my own boutique and clothing design and alteration shop here in Columbus. We have designed and made clothing and costumes for everyone from ball room dancers to roller skaters to prom and wedding events to, my latest, an Elvis Impersonator.
