About | Debra Gail Bennett May 18, 1954 - May 27, 2022 Debra Gail Bennett (Perdue) was a proud mother and grandmother who left us on May 27, 2022. She grew up in south OKC where she attended U.S. Grant High School. She was a member of the marching band’s flute section. After graduation she soon started a career as a secretary at Tinker Air Force Base but then advanced to aircraft maintenance where she worked as lead on many projects including the NASA Super Guppy. Her retirement began in 2013 but, feeling restless, she returned to work at Tinker on contract. Debi enjoyed athletics and attended many OKC Blazer hockey games with her parents. She cheered on many athletic programs at the University of Oklahoma with her dog, Boomer, but women’s softball and the Sooner football program were her favorites. She was also a fan of rodeos. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lindsey (Ryan) Einer, two grandchildren Marty and Michael, and brother Rudy Wayne Perdue. Her parents, Bobbie Van and Mary Alice Perdue, and her brother and sister, Rex Daryl and Marilyn Kay Davenport preceded her in death. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3rd from 12pm-7pm with a reception from 5-7pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4th at Crawford Family Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 NW 178th St., Edmond, OK. The service will commence at 10am. Interment will take place at Sunny Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation may be made in her memory to Frank C. Love Cancer Institute.
