About Me	Alpha Amirrachman (b.1970) is an executive director of Centre for Dialogue and Cooperation among Civilisations (CDCC), an international civil society organization based in Jakarta. He holds Ph.D. from the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR), Universiteit van Amsterdam, the Netherlands (2012) with dissertation on peace education in the Moluccas, Indonesia and M.Phil. from the School of Policy and Practice, Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney, Australia (2004). with thesis on education decentralization in Indonesia. Alpha is affiliated with Sultan Ageng Tirtasaya University in Serang, Banten, and Maarif Institute in Jakarta, Indonesia. He was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies (KITLV) in Leiden (Feb-Sep 2012) working on a documentary film about education and youth in Indonesia at the audiovisual department of the KITLV. He was also a post-doctoral research fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) in Singapore writing and doing research on education decentralization in Indonesia.
