| About Me | After dropping out in my sophomore year I married, had a family & divorced 18 yrs later. Through that time I lived in CA, TX & AZ finally settling in Washington. I worked a variety of jobs. Two of the most fun were driving a "pea-viner" harvesting peas for Twin City foods in the Skagit valley and driving for UPS (both were seasonal). Eventually I went to work for GTE Directories in Everett, WA. I worked my way up into a management position and transfered to the Dallas area when they closed our regional office and consolidated 4 offices into one. From there I met my husband Mike. He was a division manager for in one of the CA sales offices. My kids were pretty much grown so we were able to travel. I've been to Bangkok, Hong Kong, England, France, Greece, Turkey, Tahiti, the Bahamas, Mexico, Canada, Jamaica and the Caribbean. We enjoyed site-seeing, sailing, water and snow skiing and just laying on the beach. Now we are semi-retired in Cedar Park, TX, a suburb of Austin. Both of my son's have relocated to TX, Kelly (the oldest) lives here in Cedar Park, Denny and family are near the Dallas area. My daughter Brandi is planning a move here in the fall with her family.
