| About Me | I've worn MANY hats in my lifetime. Just ask...we may have Something Unique in common!! ;-) After graduating TPHS, I ventured to USC (FIGHT ON TROJANS!!!!) to earn my BA degree in Humanities (English Literature and Linguistics) and party my fraternity a$$ off!! Immediately thereafter, I immersed myself in work in Los Angeles, starting off in advertising and ending up in Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation's Licensing and Merchandising division where I piloted the Commercial Film Clip Licensing program. However, after getting car-jacked TWICE in LA, I decided to follow my heart and hit the road for San Francisco!! (Yes...it IS the Gay Mecca they promised it would be!) Following a few professional mis-starts in SF in 1997-1999, I again followed my heart - which led me back to 29 Palms for a year, caring for my mom until she passed - until I returned to SF in 2000. Traveled throughout Europe for a bit then landed firmly back in My Favorite City (NYC is now a close second), where I found yet another niche in recruiting! Tried "retirement" but found it painfully dull and directionless. Worked with high net wealth individuals, families, foundations and institutions worldwide (estate planning, financial management, tax prep, etc.) a year-long stint in Los Angeles ~ providing administrative support at all levels in a variety of industries, including BioPharm, Commercial Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Motion Picture, Television, Public Policy & Planning, etc. ~ lead me to a new chapter in Twentynine Palms. Life comes full-circle! ;-) In hopes of recovering some of the magic the Bay Area lost during the recession, I have returned to blaze yet another trail...this time, in higher education at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. I'm a HUGE patron of The Arts, especially musical theatre (local, regional, national and international) and venture to Broadway (yet another Mecca for me) as often as possible! LOVE spending Christmases in Connecticut with friends and family!!!
