About Me	I have been married 20 years this March. I married a music man. He's played guitar and sang since I met him. He's played at many places around. You've probably heard him. I attended Haywood Community College and graduated in 1994. I worked there for 14 years. I attended Mars Hill College for one year and Florida State University online for another year. I have raised two children of my own with my husband, and one stepson. Kandyce, Joe (my biological with my husband), and Jonathan. My stepson, Jonathan, was recently in the Air Force and served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have had a total of nine step-grandchildren who I have been with since they were born. I have helped take care of them and am very blessed to have so many children in my life. I actually have one step-great grandson! I love them all very much. I think I was just destined to always be around children. My daughter is in her second year of college at UNCA and will attend Emory University next fall continuing pre-med. I live out in the country in Bryson City and am currently comfortably retired. I love it!! I am looking forward to celebrating my 20th wedding anniversary this March. I am also looking forward to the next class reunion, so get in touch with me. Basically my life has been and still is focused aroung children. I enjoyed my career in and around education at HCC. I worked in four different departments there. I am extremely proud of my daughter, Kandyce, who is doing very well in college on her way to becoming a physician. I also have two step-granddaughters in college doing extremely well on their way to becoming teachers. Right now I am taking care of my two grandsons from my stepson who was in the military. He and his wife are attending college at SCC. I am still taking care of children! I look forward to continuing my education at a later date.
