About Me	After high school, I didn't travel far--went to Haywood Tech and received by Associate of Applied Science and started working as a secretary in Waynesville. Finally ventured out and opened my own business--a cosmetic business, a Merle Norman Studio. Continued in that business until 1977, when I got married to Bill Doggett and moved to Raleigh, NC. There I worked in the banking business for a while and in 1987 got my real estate license and started selling real estate, which is what I am doing today and still absolutely loving it! I also training new agents for my company. I am currently in Management with Fonville Morisey Realty, an independent broker that is the leading real estate company in Raleigh. A highlight of my real estate career was being awarded the 2018 REALTOR of the Year by the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS. I'm still working and find it very engaging and fun! Bill is an architect and practices in Raleigh as well. Bill and I have one child together, Chad, who married a wonderful woman, Catherine, in 2014 and we now have two very sweet little Grandsons, Tate (named after his paternal grandmother, Nannie Tate Noland who lived in Waynesville) born in 2016 and "JR", born in 2018. They are the loves of my life!! I have two step daughters, Laura and Christy, who have gifted us with 6 wonderful, healthy grandchildren. Chad works in real estate with me. Right after Tate was born, I was diagnosed with breast cancer but after several surgeries in 2016, I am happy to say I am cancer free. I enjoy playing golf, traveling, sewing, reading and playing with our grandchildren. I love living life to it's fullest! I especially like to travel in the Caribbean where it's warm and sunny.
