Thomas James Squires
HOUSTON, Texas | Thomas James Squires, age 58, of Houston, Texas, died September 30, 2005 at home. Graveside services were held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday October 4, 2005 at Brookside Memorial Park, a Dignity Memorial Provider directing.
Thomas was born October 31, 1946 in Tuscaloosa County but had been a resident of Houston for the past 26 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Willie James Squires; mother, Imogene Channell Wheeler; and brother, Dennis O. Holemon.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Jeannine Squires; daughters, Deana Leigh Garcia (Robert), Jennifer Layne Byler (Scott), and Kristy Dione Squires, all of Houston, Texas; son, John Timothy Gooden of Tuscaloosa; grandchildren, Robert Matthew Garcia, Jr. of Houston, Texas and Jacob Andrew Gooden of Tuscaloosa; sisters, Cynthia Booth (Gene), Regina Gant (Leroy); and brother Glenn Holemon (Cherry), all of Tuscaloosa
Although he lived away from Tuscaloosa, he remained an avid Alabama Fan.
