About Me	Academic and Professional Life: After graduating from college, I went to Washington D.C. and got my Masters degree in International Affairs from George Washington. I worked in both Washington and San Francisco doing internatlonal aid work. I later got my teaching credential and taught high school social studies and other subjects in San Jose and Orange County, California. Later I returned to school and got my MSW degree and became a child protective services social worker. I have had a number of jobs associated with child protective services and became a manager. I also served as Executive Director of my county's non-profit child abuse prevention council. Personal Life: I got married and had my first child, a son, who is now 18. I later divorced and remarried to my current husband, with whom I also have a son, age 10....(read more)
