| About | Jenny M. Kufahl, 33, passed away, November 27, 2010. She was born July 10, 1977, in Quinter, KS, the daughter of Dave and Judy ( Linden) Halbleib. Jenny graduated from Ransom High School and Fort Hays State. She graduated with her Masters Degree in School Counseling from Emporia State University. She married Ryan Kufahl on July 14, 2001, in Ellis, KS. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She worked as a teacher and counselor for Turner High School in Kansas City, KS. She more recently worked as a counselor for State Street Elementary School in Topeka. Survivors include her husband, Ryan Kufahl; children, Logan and Kinsley; parents, Dave and Judy Halbleib, Hays, KS; sisters, Becky (Chris) Scheuerman, Kim (Andy) Chesney; grandmother, Eleanor Halbleib; parents-in-law, Don and Margie Kufahl; sister-in-law, Tara (Brad) Shank; nieces, Emily, Elizabeth, Kalin; nephews, Kent, Devin, Talon. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Reva Linden and Robert Halbleib. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd., Topeka, KS 66614, where a rosary will be prayed at 5:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th St, Topeka. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jenny Kufahl Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
