| About | Amanda Elizabeth Minick, 68, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on February 6, 2008, in her home. Funeral services will be held at 7pm, Friday, February 8, at Emmanuel Family Outreach Center on 71st & Quivira in Shawnee, KS. Viewing will be from 4pm to 6pm on Friday at the same location. Flowers can be sent to Porters Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS 66215. 913.438.6444 Amanda was born in Shellknob, MO on April 1, 1939 and spent the last 28 years in the Kansas City area, pastoring a church, Emmanuel Family Outreach Center, with her husband reverend Carl D. Minick. She was proceeded in death by two children, Charlie Richard and Linda Kay, her parents Elbert and Blanche Swofford, three sisters and three brothers. Amanda is survived by her husband Carl, three sons, Jerry Carl, Terry Alan, and Daniel Keith. Their wives Vicki, Pamela, and Lisa and nine grandchildren, Alex, Danny, Ashley, Nick, Cody, Miranda, Jessica, Josiah, and Grace. Amanda is also survived by three brothers and six sisters. |
