About Me	I don't remember much about my senior year after going three years to William Chrisman and then our class being torn apart (not that I didn't think that it was neat being the first graduating class of Truman after all the other half of the class couldn't brag about that) I decided to take COE so I only had 4 hours of classes and missed out on most of the school activities. It wasn't until after I graduated and met my future wife on a blind date (arranged by our friends Doug Scott and Marsha Nance) Joann Bittick class of 67'. Joann convinced me to try college, my grades and study habits were not good in high school but I tried. I could tell that I was not cut out for college and got a job with F.W. Woolworth in their management training program. Joann and I were Married in August of 1967 and I was drafted in November 1967. I was lucky I spent 18 months in Germany and Joann was able to join me, we had a place in town so it was like a normal job. After the army I went back to Woolworth's for awhile then attended Electronics school. I was hired by Toledo Scales (1976) as a scale tech.,scales were just becoming more electronic at that time and in 1986 Toledo Scales pulled their company offices out of Kansas City replacing them with Distributors with which I stayed with. That distributor (Scale Systems Inc.) was forced to close in 2011. My boss (Gary Young) sent an e-mail to Balls Foods to let them know he was closing and that I was going to be available and Balls immediately offered and hired me to do their scale work, it's worked out great for both of us. My wife Joann passed away in 2010 after 37 years, we had one son Ashley which we did find the name in a boys name book. Ashley is married and they are living with me which I think has been great. No grand kids just cats. I like trying to make pretty flowers (wish I had a green thumb) sometimes they come up sometimes not. I like watching Disney movies, science fiction movies ect.
