TICKET PRICE (to help cover the cost for the entire WEEKEND of reunion festivities) will be $10.00 a person.... which we are requesting be sent in an RSVP by September 13th 2010 to: Class of 1980 Reunion C/O Donna Gdowski 34173 Jessica Lane Huron Twp, MI 48164 You've probably guessed by now how excited we are, as your reunion committee that is, about this being our 30 year and have decided to use the whole weekend to celebrate, sooooo we've scheduled your Harry S. Truman High School Class Of 1980 30 year Reunion for Friday and Saturday September 24th and 25th. We're going to be kicking off the festivities Friday, September 24th at Truman's very own Homecoming Football game by trying to get as many 1980 Alumni in the stands as possible. We'll be setting up a "Welcome Home Class of 1980" Let's Get This Party Started" booth where you can come sign in and be counted!! Never forget that they retired "The Spirit Stick" in honor of the class of 1980...No class before "us" or since "us" carries that distinction. Only think of how much fun it will be to show em' we've still got it!! But here's where the "serious fun" begins...Following the football game, Mary (Boss) Boonenberg and her "Wonderful" husband Bob, have graciously decided to host a "Reunion Bonfire" so everyone is invited back to their house after the game!!!!!! Mary and Bob Boonenberg 14559 Lange Rd Taylor, Michigan 48180 ue to the volume of people we are hoping for and already expecting, we've decided to go more along the lines of a "Tail-gate" Bonfire kinda theme.. in that we are asking you all to pack your trunks with chairs, your favorite snacks, a cooler packed with your favorite "Drinks" and anything else you'd like to bring. Feel free to bring a dish to pass. We'll be ordering Pizza's that night. Lots and lots of Pizza's!!!!! ;-) Plans for Saturday night are as follows: The "Reunion" will be held at "MALLIES BAR" Starting at 6:30 p.m 19400 Northline Road Corner of Allen and Northline, Southgate, MI http://www.malliesbar.com/ Each person will be responsible for their own bill. Here's how it will work: While, you many order anything off of their menu that night, Mallies will be offering us Three Dinner Specials at the discounted price of $9.95 each. 1. Chicken Dinner 2. Steak Dinner 3. Salmon Dinner They will be providing Pitchers of Beer at $5.00 a pitcher and well drinks at $3.00 a drink along with an endless supply of salsa and chips. They are also requesting that all guest open a tab using a Credit Card or a Debit Card...even if paying in cash at the end of the night. This will be done at your table with your server. We also have a DJ that will be playing some of our favorites from our High school days. (just a note, if you ARE interested in ordering any one of the three dinner specials, PLEASE, Please include a note along with your money for the tickets to the reunion stating WHICH of the three dinners you would like to order) ie...2 chicken dinners please AND so now, just to recap: You are being officially invited to join us as we celebrate our 30th class Reunion........Friday and Saturday September 24th and 25th 2010 The cost to you will be $10.00 per person per ticket. On Friday, September 24th we'll be meeting up at Truman High School for their annual Homecoming football game.... then we'll take the party to Mary's house at: 14559 Lange Rd Taylor Mi. for a bonafide night of hilarious fun at the 30th Reunion Bonfire party. THEN on Saturday we meet at Mallies Bar 6:30 pm. for a night of fun, surprises, games, awards, and more catching up!!
