He was well like by his fellow class mates and a true friend to all .

Reggie and his wonderful family were neighbors of ours. His sister Becky used to babysit for my brother and I. The day we found out about Reggie, my heart was so filled with grief for Becky and her family. Never could I imagine ever loosing my brother. Reggie was the first and last Vietnam fatality that I ever knew. It surely left a lasting impression on me. Often, I have wondered about the Vance family and hope they all are doing well.
