Vaughn E. “Pete” Swineford, 49, of Aurora, Colo., died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000.
Services were Friday, Aug. 18, at Eastern Hills Community Church in Aurora.

He was born June 8, 1951, in Lodi.
Surviving are his wife, Cheri Swineford; children Jennifer (David) Frisby and Jason (Amy) Swineford of Colorado; a grandson; his mother, Eleanor Swineford of Cabot, Ark.; and brothers Wayne (Marilyn) Swineford of Texas and Randy (Pamela) Swineford of Arkansas.
His father, Gerald E. Swineford, and grandparents, the Rev. Dewey and Edith Ewing and Kent and Pauline Swineford, died previously.
