First Alumni weekend

To all. We are trying to start a new tradition at Triopia, a Fall Football Alumni weekend. It will be on Saturday October 3rd. The day will begin with a 5K run at 8:00 in the morning, gates will open at 11:00 with several activities to keep your children entertained while you are visiting with classmates, teammates, cheerleaders or old friends. It will be the homecoming game and kickoff is slated for 1:00pm against Beardstown who is now in the WIVC conference. It is the 40th anniversary of our first State Championship in 1975 and all team members and cheerleaders from the 1974, 1975 and 1976 teams will be introduced pre-game. We also want to introduce any members from our very first team from the fall of 1959. After the game AJ's tap (Newts, DJ's tap for you older people) will be a gathering place until around 6:00pm when a dinner/dance will take place a mile or two north of Arenzville in a local farmers shop. Exit 52 is the band that will provide entertainment and Hamilton's catering will supply dinner. We will have a Facebook page up soon with more details about the event along with costs. We really want this to be a yearly event and are hoping that a lot of people show up. If you have that weekend open make the trek home to visit with members from Trojan Nation.

Powerful Dreams Powerful Teams

Greetings alumni. It is that time of year for our annual fundraiser to help support our Trojan sports teams. It is done annually through what is called Powerful Dreams Powerful Teams. The cost is $100 per ticket and this buys you a prime rib dinner for two and a chance to win many door prizes whether you attend or not. The top door prize is $2500 and it goes down from there. We have an auction of several really nice items (past items autographed Micheal Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Kurt Warner, Sammy Sosa and a Brett Favre football just to name a few). There is usually around 20 - 25 items on the auction. We have a silent auction going on all evening as well where you can control your amount of spending visually. This evening helps support all Triopia athletics and it has been a huge success in the past. If you would like to participate we would love to have your support. Thanks Andy Phelps

50 Years of Triopia

The first graduating class from the Arenzville, Chapin, Concord co-op was the class of 1960 therefore this is the 50th year for our school. We are honoring the very first football team on Friday night Sept. 11th. during halftime of the game against ISD. Along with the first football team we will also recognize anyone who has either played football or been a cheerleader during this timeframe. Let's get a huge turnout from Trojan Nation.
