Joined Marine Corps in 1966 and trained at Quantic, VA as platoon leader in summer of '66 and '68. Attended and graduated with BA from Sacramento State College in 1970. Received Officer's Commission after completing training in Marine Corps in 1971. Served in VietNam, Cambodia and on Okinawa (1st and 3rd MARDIV). Trained with Army 1st Special Forces (airborne) SAFASIA. Company Commander both overseas and at Camp Pendleton. Trained with Navy at Coronado (diver). Attained rank of Captain before released from duty. PH, PUC, Meritorious Service Award, VN Service.

stationed at FT. Hood,TX as a combat engineer. got to play with explosives and learned to build and destroy alot of things. got to play with all the heavy equipment and armored vehicles the army had even some of our enemies stuff.
second tour as an target aquisition, radar specialist. tour in KOREA up on the dmz watching the north watch us. Back to the states and assigned FT.Lewis WA. finished my tour there. Joined reserves as an Watercraft operator getting to operate and pilot most of the combat vessals used in landing troops and equipment on the beach or harbor. Got to see the coast line from Washington state to Washington D.C. and Alaska. It was a pleasure to be able to play with all the toys the military had to offer. PROUD TO SERVE PROUDLY AND WITH HONOR. Highest medal awarded was the MSM but the one i cherish the most is the humanitarian medal i received for actions in saving the lives of others.

Our Trinity High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Trinity High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
