| About Me | I worked 27 years at Drakenfeld (Ciba-Geigy, Cerdec, DMC2,Ferro) and 10 years at Schilling Graphics. I retired December 31, 2018 with 42 years working in the glass industry. My journey included adding extra pages to 2 passports, spending many hours on airplanes while missing my two kids grow up. Hopefully, I will live long enough to enjoy retirement. All in all, the glass industry was very, very good to me....what a ride! I had a hand in the development of the blue/white enamels for the Corona and Rolling Rock bottles, white enamel stripes on the glass at O'Hara airport, the colors found on Corelle ware in your kitchen, the black bands and dot patterns on your car/truck windshields and back lights.
