About Me	I worked as a dental assistant/office mgr for 10 years and then moved on to work as an asst store mgr for Maurices for a couple of years. I spent 5 years working for a Food Service Company in marketing and accounting and then took a 5 year leave from working to stay home with my kids. Rick and I made the decision that I would go back to work for myself and so we purchased a second Insurance & Real Estate Office and I went to school to get my license and that was 13 years ago. I have been very devoted to my family's careers as well as making my community a better place to live. Both my husband's political career and my children's academic career have been an important part of my life. My husband has served in the Ky State Senate for 4 years and the Ky House of Rep. for the past 4 years. We have opened two Insurance and Real Estate offices and enjoy being involved in volunteer work. My children have both been excellent students their entire school careers and have worked very hard to be successful in preparing for their future. We are very involved in our church and enjoy spending time with our family. Especially on beach vacations. Working with young people has been and is very fulfilling to me.
