About Me	Right now, my life is pretty much chaos. I lost my husband of 30 years on July 2, 2008. His name was David Nichols. He was my best friend and was just getting ready to retire. Total change of plans. He died suddenly, and every day is a challenge - although God IS good and has more than provided for me and has stood beside me every step. I don't know how long you miss someone in this capacity, but it is daunting to be by myself again. Never thought about what this time would be like if I were the one left. Be good to your spouses-thank God for every day that you have with them; you really have no idea how long you have. I am so blessed to have 2 grown sons - Tobin and Colin. Tobin gave me my first and only grandchild, Arinanna Grace Mae Nichols. "Ari" is 3 1/2 years old. Colin and Erin Barnett were married on June 7, 2008 - so now I also have a daughter!! It was a beautiful wedding and David was there for it. Tobin lives and works here in Lafayette (is attending IVY Tech) - Colin and Erin live and work in Indianapolis. Colin graduated from IUPUI and accepted a position there after graduation. Erin is completing a Master's degree at Butler and works at Starbucks. (She's trying to get me addicted to Starbucks :) Colin & Erin have also provided me with my first Grand-dog-ter. Her name is Lucy and she has brought a new perspective to Colin & Erin's life.
