About Me	I'm a journalist who loves writing about music. My passion is rockabilly. I attend all the shows that I can. My first book, Catch That Rockabilly Fever, was published in 2009. I write for Blue Suede News, Keep Rockin', and the Pin-Up magazines. Originally, I wanted to be an actor, but I wasn't any good at it. Then I changed my major to business since I wanted to be a buyer for a major department store. That didn't work out too well because I got the worse grades of my life with C's and D's. I almost dropped out of college. Finally, I switched to English, and that's where I stayed. In 2002, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a concentration in writing. I took a journalism class, wrote for the college newspaper, and interned with the college bi-monthly magazine. Upon graduation, I started my own rockabilly magazine, thanks to a trip to the Ponderosa Stomp in New Orleans. Rockabilly Revue lasted eight issues. Dale Hawkins was the first artist I ever interviewed, and he gave me the inspiration to follow my dream. I never thought that I would write a book, but after much coaxing from my mom and various friends, I began to send my proposal around to fifty different publishers. For my birthday in October 2007, I received a contract in the mail from McFarland Publishers. My first book, Catch That Rockabilly Fever, was published in November 2009. Thankfully, I am currently working on my second and third books while still contributing articles to various magazines, most notably Blue Suede News.
